Road Trip!
Tomorrow I head off on a cross-country adventure spanning more than 3000 miles and 11 states. I'm sad to be leaving Maryland, but more sad to be leaving my new partner in crime.
Liz says I've spoiled him while I've been here, but I prefer to call it "making new friends." Over the last week, Oscar and I have bonded while getting ready for this epic adventure. We made new CDs. We bought a car charger for my Droid and a AAA membership. We did laundry and packed for 8 weeks at camp. We picked out dresses for each of the weddings I'll attend in Oregon and we made sure to rent some books on CD to keep me entertained. We even managed to fit in some NCLEX studying along the way. We sat on the couch and watched TV a lot, in order to be ready for days of sitting. I'll miss my new little buddy.
Tomorrow I head to Louvul (aka Louisville). Then St Louis, Denver, Twin Falls and finally the 503 for a weekend full of HS grad parties and tax-free shopping before I officially kick the summer off at camp! Here's to hoping my (Mazda6) baby is extra good to me this week.
