Five for Friday: Happy Anniversary!

1. Another great year at camp. I think this will always be my favorite week of the year personally, and I love, love, love that we get to share it together. I love serving alongside him and so appreciate that we can share our individual passions together.
2. A close second this year, was the great East Coast Move of 2013. After almost a year and a half of long-distance dating, I was more than ready to have my best friend live much, much closer, and being able to say goodnight without saying goodbye made February one of my favorite months. I feel so blessed to have picked someone who is willing to make so many sacrifices to further our relationship.
3. Thanksgiving in Florida. While it might have been a little overwhelming to meet so many Cozads at once, it was great to get to meet and spend time with the family and enjoy a little R&R in sunny Florida. I'm excited for future trips!
4. Tour de Littles in May. After being so close to Little Missy when she was born and as she grows, it made me very sad that Tres doesn't get to be as involved in the life of his niece- but I'm so glad that we made it a priority to see her a few weeks after she was born and then again on our last trip to the West Coast. Now that Everett is pulling on my own heart strings from so far away, I can understand how hard it is to be away from a little person you love so much, and I've loved watching Tres embrace the role of Uncle, even from so far away.
5. Weekly dinners, day dates, movies etc. I think perhaps my favorite thing about this year is that we now get to do life together on a daily basis. I usually get to see Tres multiple times a week, if not everyday and I love just doing the simple stuff together. He's made settling into my new house much easier as my go-to handyman, and I love that now I live close enough to drive over and join him for lunch on my days off.
I love you, cute boy! Thanks for putting up with me for another year :)
